Except as otherwise provided in individual NRAs, or on individual Web
Rate Pages in a Rate Tariff governed by this Tariff, any shipment moving TO
or THRU the Port Terminals of Los Angeles or Long Beach, CA. via surface
roads may be SBJ to the TRAFFIC MITIGATION FEES [TMF] (PierPass)
established by the Ports as specified below:

I. The TRAFFIC MITIGATION FEE [TMF or PIERPASS] will apply follows:
Shipments entering or exiting the Port Terminals between the hours of
3:00AM thru 6:00PM, Monday through Friday will be SBJ to the PierPass
charges assessed by such ports, EXCEPT: The Charge
will NOT apply on:
A. Empty Containers
B. Chassis without Containers
C. Containers entering the Port Terminals via the
Alameda Corridor
Shipments entering or exiting the Port Terminals outside the hours
specified above will NOT be subject to the PierPass Charges.
As Carrier is responsible for the collection and payment of such
PierPass Charges, Carrier will assess the charges below when PierPass
Charges are assessed, which charge shall be in addition to all other
charges:
On PC20 ft. Equipment: USD 65.00
On PC40 ft. Equipment: USD 100.00
On PC45 ft. Equipment: USD 100.00
II. PORT CHECK FEES & CHARGES will apply whenever any Port Terminal or
Faciity assesses a Port Check Charge, Carrier will pass-thru such
charge, at cost, for payment from the Shipper, Consignee or party
responsible for the payment of rates and charges
