tariff apply BETWEEN United States Atlantic and Gulf Ports
in the Eastport, Maine/Brownsville, Texas Range, Great
Lakes Ports and Pacific Coast Ports in the States of
California, Oregon and Washington, Alaska and Hawaii and
Ports in Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Island and United States
inland points listed in Rule 1.A., AND Worldwide Ports and
Points listed in Rule 1.B., as indicated below:

from/to all ports/points in the following countries.

     1. Asia : Countries and islands bordering the Pacific
or Indian Oceans, which are wholly or partially north of
the Equator, and wholly east of 90 degrees East longitude,
including all of the Peoples Republic of China, Mongolia,
and that portion of the former Russian Soviet Federated
Republic east of 90 degrees East longitude.

Includes the following countries:

          Bangladesh; Brunei; Burma; Cambodia; China; Hong
Kong; Indonesia; Japan; Korea Republic of; Laos; Macau;
Malaysia; Mongolia; Philippines; Singapore; Taiwan;
Thailand; Vietnam; USSR Siberia.


     2. South Pacific :   Countries and islands bordering
the Pacific or Indian Oceans and which  are wholly south of
the Equator.

Includes the following countries:

          American Samoa; Australia; Christmas Island; Cook
          Islands; Federated States of Micronesia; Fiji;
          French Polynesia; Guam; Johnston Atoll; Kiribati;
          Marshall Islands; Midway Islands; Nauru; New
          Caledonia; New Zealand; Niue; Norfolk Island;
          Northern Mariana Islands; Papua New Guinea;
          Pitcairn Islands; Solomon Islands; Tonga; Trust
          Territory of the Pacific; Tuvalu; Vanuatu;

    3. Europe - European Continent, including the island
adjacent thereto, the countries bordering the Atlantic
Ocean, the northern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, Turkey
and that portion of the former Russian Soviet Federated
Socialist Republic west of 90 degrees East longitude.
