Except as otherwise provided in individual NSAs, or in the list of
exceptions named in paragraph c. herein, all shipments moving on the rates
named in a governed NSA FROM Ports and Points in Japan, TO all Ports and
Points in the United States or any United States Territory, are SBJ to the
EMERGENCY PEAK SEASON SURCHARGE named below, which charge shall be in
addition to all other applicable charges.  The EPSS named herein is in
addition to the PSS (Peak Season Surcharge) named in Rule 10.90.
  
EMERGENCY PEAK SEASON SURCHARGE will be:
  
a. On LCL rated shipments the EPSS shall be:
   FROM/THRU: Ports in Japan, INCLUDING shipments moving via Pusan,
               Republic of Korea: 
  
 1. TO Ports & Points in the United States when moving To/Thru USWC
        Destination Ports, EXCEPT does NOT apply on shipments to Chicago
        Destination Group CFS (see Paragraph a.3.):
{C}      CANCELLED
        EXCEPTION a.i.:
         i. On shipments destined TO the ports of Long Beach or Los
             Angeles, CA the PSS shall apply per W/M, as freighted.
  
 2. TO Ports & Points in the United States when moving To/Thru USAG
        Destination Ports, EXCEPT does NOT apply on shipments To Chicago
        Destination Group CFS (see Paragraph a.3):

     EXCEPTION a.ii:
      ii. On shipments destined TO NY Destination Group [when moving via
           All-Water Service] or TO Miami, FL [when moving via All-Water
           Service] the PSS shall apply per W/M, as freighted.
  
 3. TO Chicago Destination Group CFS via USWC or USAG Destination Ports:
{C}      CANCELLED
  
 4. TO Ports & Points in U.S. Territories (American Samoa, Guam, the
        Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
         when Moving VIA AWS or any U.S. Port:
{C}      CANCELLED
     EXCEPTION a.iii:
      iii. On shipments moving to the port of San Juan, Puerto Rico
           [when moving via All-Water Service], the PSS shall apply per
           W/M, as freighted.
  
b. On FCL rated shipments the EPSS shall be:
   Except as may be otherwise specifically provided in this Tariff or in a
    specific NSA, when Shipper provides agrees to the payment of, the
    charge(s) listed below (including when the Shipper accepts Carrier's
    rate quote), Seino Logix Co.; Ltd. will forward the Underlying VOCC
    VOCC PSS Surcharge(s) listed below, when they are assessed by such
    underlying VOCC, to the party paying freight and charges for payment.
    Such charges will be passed thru at cost without discount, markup or
    amendment, and which charge shall be in addition to all other
    applicable charges.
  
      APPLICABLE PSS CHARGE TO BE PASSED THROUGH AS SPECIFED IN THE FEDERAL
         MARITIME COMMISSION REGULATED TARIFF OR SERVICE CONTRACT OF THE
                     VOCCs NAMED BELOW (SBJ to Note A below):

     NOTE A: Except as may be otherwise specifically provided in this
      Tariff, Seino Logix Co., Ltd. will forward any BAF Charges assessed
      by the VOCC(s) named above for payment to the party paying freight
      and other charges.
  
c. EXCEPTIONS:
    Shipments moving on the NSAs named below include (are NSbj to)
     the PSS named herein, unless and until an amendment thereto
     removes this Exception:
