a. In order to allow Carrier to minimize the cost of documentation
   preparation and filing, Shipper, Consignee, their Agents and/or
   Forwarders must furnish the Carrier all shipment information
   specified in Rule 2.8.  Additionally Carrier must receive
   evidence that the required Importer's portion of the ISF
   (Importer Security Filing) has been duly and correctly filed
   prior to commencement of transportation service on shipments
   being imported in or thru the United States.
   
b. If Importer, Shipper, Consignee, their Agents and/or Forwarder
   does NOT furnish evidence of the filing of the required Importer's
   portion of the ISF as specified in paragraph a. above, or when
   Importer, Shipper, Consignee, their Agent and/or Forwarder
   requests Carrier to prepare & file the Importer portion of the
   ISF, Carrier will submit the required ISF upon receipt of all
   requisite information.  If evidence of completed ISF or the
   requisite information to complete an ISF, is not received in time
   for the tendered cargo to commence transportation service to meet
   the underlying VOCC container cut-off for the sailing for which
   the cargo has been booked, Carrier will hold cargo at origin until
   requisite evidence that a valid ISF has been made or the
   information to file a valid ISF has been received by the Carrier.
   All storage, unloading, re-packing and/or handling charges
   incurred as a result of Importer's, Shipper's, Consignee's, their
   Agent's and/or Forwarder's failure to provide required evidence or
   information will be for the account of the cargo, which charge
   shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.
    
c. ISF HANDLING FEE:
   When Carrier is required or requested to file the ISF with U.S.
   Customs, Carrier will assess the ISF Handling Fee named below,
   which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges
   (See Amendment/Correction/Change Fee named in paragraph e.)
   
     On DDP/DDU (U.S. Bound Cargo - 10 Data Elements) Shipments
       including Customs Clearance, Carrier will assess an ISF
       Handling Fee of:
          . . . . .   USD 100.00 per shipment
   
d. The Shipper, Consignee, their Agent and/or Forwarder shall be and
   will remain jointly and severally liable for, and shall indemnify
   and hold the Carrier harmless from, any loss, damage, delay,
   expense or liability incurred by, or levied upon, the Carrier or
   the Cargo by reason of non-compliance with U.S. Customs
   Regulations which result from, the late presentation of, or false,
   inaccurate, incomplete or erroneous data contained in, the
   Importer Security Filing.  All such fines, penalties or levies
   incurred by the Carrier shall in all cases be immediately reimbursed.
  
e. ISF AMENDMENT/CORRECTION/CHANGE FEE:
   When Carrier is required or requested by Shipper to Amend, Change
   and/or Correct any detail or data contained in an ISF Filing that has
   already been filed, Carrier will assess the Correction Fee named
   below, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable
   charges:
 
          All Shipments:                Yen 2000 per Amendment
           PLUS Consumption Tax (10%):  Yen  200
