DENSITY SURCHRGE NAMED HEREIN DOES NOT APPLY WHEN HEAVY LIFT/DENSITY
SURCHARGE NAMED IN RULE 4 APPLIES.
  
LCL Rates named in this Tariff are predicated on a maximum cargo density
less than 1,000 kgs per 1 cbm.  When loose cargo is tendered to
Carrier for transportation service, having a density equal to or greater
than 1,000 kgs per 1 cbm, Carrier will assess the applicable DENSITY
SURCHARGE (DEN) named below, which charge shall be in addition to all
other applicable charges.
   
1. DENSITY SURCHARGE, On All LCL Shipments, EAN in Paragraph 2:
  
  a. When Cargo density equals or exceeds a weight of 1,000 kgs per
      1 cbm, but Cargo density is less than 1,500 kgs per 1 cbm, a
      Density Surcharge of USD20.00 per W-ton will be assessed, SBJ
      to a Minimum Charge of USUSD20.00 per B/L.
  
  b. When Cargo density equals or exceeds a weight of 1,500 kgs per
      1 cbm, but Cargo density is less than 2,000 kgs per 1 cbm, a
      Density Surcharge of USD35.00 per W-ton will be assessed, SBJ
      to a Minimum Charge of USD35.00 per B/L.
  
  c. When Cargo density equals or exceeds a weight of 2,000 kgs per
      1 cbm a Density Surcharge of USD50.00 per W-ton will be assessed,
      SBJ to a Minimum Charge of USD50.00 per B/L.
 
  
2. DENSITY SURCHARGE EXCEPTION: All LCL Shipments with a POL or POD of
   Houston, TX will be SBJ to a Density Surcharge of:
  
  a. When the Cargo cube (in CBMs) of a Shipment, divided by 2 (two)
      exceeds the weight of the Shipment in Kilos, Carrier will assess a
      Heavy Weight Density Surcharge of USD25.00 per W-ton, SBJ to a 
      Minimum Charge of USD25.00 per B/L.
