a. Diversion At Load/Discharge Port:
   In the event of a request being made by the Shipper or
   Consignee, for diversion or redirection of cargo, the
   Carrier may at its option comply with such request.  All
   costs associated with such service will be borne by the
   Consignee and must be paid prior to release of the cargo.
    
b. Diversion Of Service:
   In the event of a request being made by the Shipper or
   Consignee for diversion of service, the Carrier may at
   its option, provide Motor Carrier service from a West
   Coast Discharge Port to an inland destination that the
   Carrier would normally service by rail.  All additional
   costs associated with such service will be borne by the
   Consignee and must be paid prior to release of the cargo.
