A. Payment of Compensation:
     
   Compensation to a licensed Ocean Freight Forwarder will
   be paid in connection with any shipment dispatched on
   behalf of others when, and only when, such forwarder is
   licensed with the Federal Maritime Commission under
   Section 19(a) of the Shipping Act of 1984 and has
   certified in writing that it holds a valid license and
   has performed the following services:
     
   1. Engaged, booked, secured, reserved, or contracted
      directly with the carrier or its agent for space
      aboard a vessel or confirmed the availability of that
      space.
   
   2. Prepared and processed the Ocean Bill of Lading, Dock
      Receipt, or other similar document with respect to
      the shipment.
   
B. Carrier will not pay compensation for services described
   in Paragraph A more that once on the same shipment.
    
C. Carrier will not knowingly pay compensation on a shipment
   in which the forwarder has a direct or indirect bene-
   ficial interest.
     
D. The amount of Compensation will be as follows:
     
   1. From the U.S. to Far East Ports/Points.
    
      FCL Cargo............ 1.5% of the Basic Ocean Freight
      LCL Cargo.............  5% of the Basic Ocean Freight
     
   2. From Far East Ports/Points to the U.S.
     
      None Currently Paid
   
   3. From the U.S. to Europe and Australia Ports/Points
   
      FCL Cargo............ 1.5% of the Basic Ocean Freight
      LCL Cargo.............  5% of the Basic Ocean Freight
    
   4. From Ports/Points in Europe and Australia.
    
      None Currently Paid
