A. Diversion at Load/Discharge Port
    
   In the event of a request being made by the shipper or
   consignee, for diversion or redirection of cargo, the
   carrier may at its option comply with such request.  All
   costs associated with such service will be borne by the
   consignee and must be paid prior to release of the cargo.
     
B. Diversion of Service
    
   In the event of a request being made by the shipper or
   consignee, the carrier may at its option, provide motor
   carrier service from a west coast discharge port to an
   inland destination that the carrier would normally serve
   by rail.  All additional costs associated with such ser-
   vice will be borne by the consignee and must be paid
   prior to release of the cargo.
