Effective 01MAY2002:
 
In order to recover amounts paid to railroads in connection
with the railroads' agreements with the Alameda Corridor 
Transportation Authority to assist in recovering the costs
of constructing and operating the Alameda Corridor, all
cargo moving through the ports of Los Angeles or Long Beach
that is transported by rail through or out of Southern
California (i.e. the counties of Kern, San Bernardino, San 
Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange,
Riverside, San Diego and Imperial), whether or not actually
carried over the Alameda Corridor, shall be subject to a 
charge in the following amounts:
   
20-foot container - $15.00 USD
40-foot container - $30.00 USD
Other Containers - $0.75 USD per linear foot
   
This charge shall be included on the bill of lading and will
be paid by the cargo interest before release of the cargo
to the consignee.
