Rates, Rules, Provisions, Surcharges and Assessorials named in this Rate
Tariff apply on cargo transported BETWEEN United States Atlantic, Gulf
or Pacific Coast Ports, Great Lakes Ports, United States inland Points
or Ports, or Points in U.S. Territorial Possessions, named in Rules 1.1
and 1.2. of this Tariff, on the one hand, AND, on the other, Foreign
Ports and Points named in Rules 1.3 and 1.4 of this Tariff.
  
Rates named in this Tariff applying from/to Ports or Port Location
Groups are local commodity rates and may be combined with any outport or
inland point arbitraries named in this Tariff.  Rates named in this
Tariff applying from/to inland Points or Point Location Groups are
through intermodal commodity rates.  Except as otherwise provided in
individual TLIs named in this Tariff, all rates shall also apply as
proportional commodity rates applicable on cargo having a specific prior
or subsequent transportation movement.
      
Rates, Rules, Provisions, Surcharges and Assessorials named in this
Tariff apply via any of the related NVOCCs named below.  Further, the
same Rate, Rules, Provisions, Surcharges, Assessorials and Bill of Lading
Terms and Conditions named herein are applicable to any shipment and will
apply regardless of which NVOCC service is utilized.  The NVOCCs sharing
in this Tariff are:

Except as otherwise provided in this Tariff, Rates named in this
Tariff are SBJ to Ambassador International, Ltd./Interstate
International, Inc. Ocean Rules Tariff 002.  When a Rule or provision
named in this Tariff conflicts with or duplicates a Rule and/or
provisions named in the Governing Rules Tariff, the Rule and/or
provisions named in this Tariff shall take precendence of the Rules
and/or provisions named in the governing Rules Tariff.
