A. Payments of Compensation
   1) Compensation to a licensed Ocean Freight Forwarder
      will be paid on the ocean segment of the
      transportation only to the extent of the value
      rendered in connection with any shipment dispatched
      on behalf of others when, and only when, such
      forwarder is licensed with the Federal Maritime
      Commission under the SHIPPING ACT 1984, and has
      performed with respect to such shipment the
      solicitation and securing of the cargo or the
      booking thereof, or otherwise has arranged for
      space for such cargo and has performed at least two
      of the following services.

      a) The coordination of the movement of the cargo.
      b) The preparation and processing of the ocean Bill of
         Lading.
      c) The preparation and processing of dock receipts
         and delivery orders.
      d) The preparation and processing of consolar
         documents and export declarations.
      e) The payment of ocean freight charges on such
         shipments.

B. Rates of Compensation
   1) Such compensation shall be based on percentage of the
      tariff rate for the commodity involved.

   2) The applicable percentage shall be as follows:
      (Applicable only on Export Shipments)
                      1.25 %

   3) Exceptions- Compensation will not be due or payable
      on the following:
      a) Advance charges.
      b) Temporary freight charges or emergency surcharges.
      c) Bulk cargos and lumber exempted from filing
         requirements of the Shipping Act, 1984.
      d) Military Sealift command or Military Traffic
         Management Command Cargoes.
      e) Terminal Handling Charge, Bunker Adjustment
         Factor, Currency Adjustment Factor or any
         surcharge named in the tariff.
