EXCEPTION TO RULE 2.1:
  
Unless otherwise provided in an individual NRA, or on a Web Tariff Rate 
Page in a Tariff governed by this Tariff, upon Shipper or Consignee request,
Carrier will provide the Tank Container loading/unloading equipment and/or
services listed below at a point in the United States, SBj to the charges
shown below, which charges shall be in addition to all other applicable
charges.  Carrier will provide such equipment and services ONLY when Carrier
can provide the necessary equipment at the location such service is
requested, or when Carrier can make advance arrangements to obtain such
equipment.
  
a. When Carrier is requested to provide Pumping Service or Compressor
   Service, Carrier will assess the charge below.  Service includes
   connecting a hose/pump between Tank Container and the Shipper's or
   Consignee's storage tanks, pumping the cargo into or from the Tank
   Container, and removal of the hose/pump provided.
  
     Pumping Charge:
       When Service is provided at:
        Any Port or Point in the
         United States: . . . . . . USD425.00 per Service Provided
  
b. When Carrier is requested to provide Hoses to facilitate the loading
   of cargo into a Tank Container or removal of cargo from a Tank
   Container, Carrier will provide a hose of a maximum of 20 feet in
   length at the Charge named below, which charge shall be in addition
   to all other applicable charges.
  
      For Each 20 feet (or fraction thereof)
        of Hose length provided:. . . . USD 85.00 (See Exception)
  
        EXCEPTION: When Hose is provided at Facilities in LAX Origin
          Ports, Portland or Seattle the charge for Each 20 feet (or
           fraction thereof) of Hose length provided will
           be:. . . . USD 100.00
