Effective 26FEB2015
Filed 26FEB2015
Filing Codes C

Except as otherwise provided on individual Web Rate Pages (TLIs),
Tariff Rules, Rate Items or TLIs, rates and charges named in this
Tariff are stated in U.S. Currency and apply per weight unit, per
measurement unit, per container or lumpsum per shipment as
specified. Calculation of freight and additional charges
will be based upon the applicable rate, times the number of
units tendered for transportation, subject to the provisions
named below.

a. Rates and/or additional charges stated on a weight unit basis of
"W" or "Lb" apply per 1 Pound. Rates and/or additional charges
stated on a weight unit basis of "CWT" apply per 100 Pounds.

  i. Freight and additional charges on shipments subject to rates or
charges stated on a weight unit basis will be computed on the
gross weight of the cargo Including the weight of all packing
materials, pallets or shipping containers (exclusive of the
weight of the ocean container) established at the time cargo is
tendered for transportation at origin. When calculating freight
or additional charges, the weight of the cargo shall be rounded
to the nearest whole pound (i.e. weight ending in .4 or less
pounds will be dropped; weight ending in .5 or higher pounds
will be rounded up to the next whole pound).

ii. Carrier reserves the right to weigh or reweigh, on certified
scales, any cargo tendered for shipment. Any weight so
ascertained by the Carrier shall be deemed paramount and shall
be used to compute freight and additional charges regardless of
any other weight, certified or otherwise, declared or provided
by the Shipper or his agent. Shipper may however at his own
expense, seek independent certification of the accuracy of any
     scales utilized by the Carrier.

b. Rates and/or additional charges stated on a measurement unit basis
"M" or "CFT") apply per cubic foot.

  i. Freight and additional charges on shipments subject to rates or
charges stated on a measurement unit basis will be computed on the
overall measurement of each piece, package or unit in the shipment.
The cubical content of each piece, package or other unit shall be
the extreme dimensions of the length, width and height of such
     piece, package or unit.

ii. Before any other calculations are made all fractional inch
dimensions will be disposed of as follows:

   1. All fractions of less than one-half inch shall be dropped.

   2. All fractions of one-half inch or more shall be rounded up to
      the next full inch.

iii. When calculating the cube of any piece, package or unit in a
shipment, fractional cubic inches are to be rounded off as provided
in Paragraphs ii.1 or ii.2 above before an cubic calcuations are
     made.

iv. When calculating freight and additional charges of applicable to
irregular or any unusually shaped piece, package or unit, the 3
(three) greatest dimensions shall be used as the rating measurements.

  v. When calculating freight and additional charges of Barrels, Casks,
Kegs and Drums, measurements shall be taken on the square of the
     bilge.

vi. When calculating freight and additional charges of rolls and
cylindrical pieces, packages or units, the measurements are to
taken on the square of the mean diameter (i.e. averaging the
diameter at the greatest and least girth).

vii. Whenever an individual piece, package or other shipping unit is
tendered for transportation and it is requested by Shipper, or is
necessary because of the nature of the cargo or its packaging,
that no cargo be stowed on top of same, Carrier will use the
maximum inside height dimension of the transporting container as
the height of the cargo when calculating the freight or
     assessorial charges.

viii. Where rates named in this Tariff are stated on a
weight basis and apply ONLY when the measurement of
the cargo is not to exceed a stated cubic measurement
unit per a stated weight unit, the total measurement
of the commodity, subject to such limitation, moving
on a single B/L will be the used to determine the
applicable rate when calculating freight charges
instead of utilizing the measurement/weight ratio of
each individual piece, package or unit in the
     shipment.

c. Rates and/or additional charges stated on an alternating weight unit
or measurement unit apply per the weight or measurement unit,
defined in paragraphs a. or b. above, whichever produces the
   greatest revenue to the Carrier.

d. Rates and/or additional charges stated on a per container basis ("PC")
apply per single container by capacity and type as defined in Rule
   2.20.

FCL Shipments of consolidated Cargo, stuffed by Shipper and tendered
to Carrier at Carrier's nominated CY locations, do not require
measuring/weighing for purposes of confirming volume/weight of cargo.
For such shipments, however, there must be a statement to confirm the
exact location at which the shipment was stuffed into the container.

e. Rates and/or additional charges stated on a lumpsum
basis apply per a single complete unit or shipment not
exceeding a specified maximum weight or measurement
unit or a maximum number of containers.

f. MISDESCRIPTION, UNDERWEIGHTS AND UNDERMEASUREMENT:

  A. The carrier at loading port will assess freight on shipments on
the basis of the gross weights and/or measurements declared or
deemed to have been declared by Shippers. Such assessment is
subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier's Bill of Lading.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Carrier may arrange, at the port/point
at destination, to have the description, measurement or weight
verified at their sole discretion. Carrier may decide in all such
cases that the description, measurements or weight so obtained
shall be used for determining the correct amount of freight and
additional charges which is to be paid. Any expenses incurred
shall be for account of cargo.

  B. If the gross weights and/or measurements declared by the Shipper
are less than those ascertained and if the Shipper, by
notification to the Carrier, within seven (7) days of the vessels'
sailing from port of loading, or the Consignee, by notification
to the Carrier prior to the shipment leaving the custody of the
Carrier, maintain that the gross weights and/or measurements stated
by them are correct, freight shall be assessed provisionally on the
controllers' figures and subsequently adjusted, if necessary, after
an outturn reweighing and/or re-measuring. If such outturn
reweighting, re-measuring and/or resurveying shows that the gross
weights, measurements and/or description were understated and/or
mis-declared by the Shippers, charges for re-measuring and/or
resurveying shall be for the account of the cargo.
