Carrier will not knowingly accept any vehicle with additional cargo
loaded therein by Shipper or his Agent for simultaneous carriage
within the vehicle to destination.  Should Shipper violate this Rule
and secretly include cargo within a vehicle tendered for transportation
the following provisions and penalty charge shall apply.
   
a. Carrier will NOT be responsible or liable, either directly or
   indirectly, for any damage to, or loss of, vehicle or cargo loaded
   in a vehicle resulting from the improper stowage, loading or mixing
   or articles in the vehicle, nor for any discrepancy or shortage in
   the count thereof, nor for any concealed or hidden damage to such
   cargo.
    
b. Carrier reserves the right to open, inspect and/or to verify whether
   any cargo has been loaded in a vehicle.  When Carrier checks the
   contents of a Vehicle such inspection will be indicated on the B/L
   and Shipping documents.  Vehicle will then be relocked (including
   resealed with Carrier's seal if an original seal was applied by

  
c. Shippers placing locking and/or security devices on vehicles MUST
   assume full responsibility for getting the proper "key," "Code" or
   "disarming device" to the Consignee by the time the shipment is
   delivered.
   
d. Consignee or his Agent MUST furnish Carrier will a clean receipt
   prior to release of vehicle and cargo at destination for any vehicle
   which has been discovered to contain cargo while in transit.
