Except as otherwise provided in individual TLIs, all
shipments moving on the rates published in this Tariff TO
Ports & Points in the United States FROM Ports & Points
in ASIA Named below are SBJ to the GENERAL RATE INCREASE
(GRI) provided below, which charge shall be in addition to
all other applicable charges.
   
GRI TO  : Ports and Points in the United States
    FROM: Ports and Points in Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia,
            China & Hong Kong, East Timor, India, Indonesia,
            Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, the
            Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan,
            Thailand and Vietnam
 a. LCL or AQ Shipments:
{A}  EFFECTIVE 25 August 2002
      All Rates published to apply on a "W" Basis are
        increased $ 12.00; and
      All Rates published to apply on a "M" Basis are
        increased $ 6.00; and
      All Rates published to apply on a "WM" Basis are
        increased $ 6.00.
     
 b. FCL Shipments: (See Exceptions)
{A}  EFFECTIVE 25 August 2002
      All Rates published to apply on a "PC20" Basis are
        increased $ 225.00
      All Rates published to apply on a "PC40" Basis are
        increased $ 300.00
      All Rates published to apply on a "PC40B" Basis
        (Hi-Cube) are increased $ 340.00
      All Rates published to apply on a "PC45X" Basis are
        increased $ 380.00
