Except as otherwise provided in NRAs or on individual Web
Rate Pages named in Tariffs governed by this Tariff,
Shipper MUST furnish, or arrange for the preparation of,
all documentation and information required to export cargo
from country of origin, to import cargo into country of
destination, and to transport cargo through other countries
between origin and destination. In addition to all
documentation, Shipper MUST describe cargo in sufficient
detail to permit Carrier to rate cargo, and MUST at a
minimum comply with the following:
a. CARGO EXPORTED FROM THE UNITED STATES: Description of
commodities shall be uniform on all copies of the B/L
and MUST be in conformity with a validated U.S. Export
Declaration, AES filing and Consular Documents covering the
shipment. The Carrier may verify the B/L description
with the AES filing, or a validated U.S. Export
Declaration to insure accuracy. Amendments or corrections
in the commodity description will be accepted ONLY if
validated by U.S.Customs and in conformity will all other
shipping documents. If shipments are NOT covered by a
Shipper's Export Declaration, as permitted by Export Control
Regulations, Shippers MUST insert the applicable
commodity Schedule B number in the Line Copy of the B/L.
b. CARGO IMPORTED INTO THE UNITED STATES: Description of
commodities shall be uniform on all copies of the B/L
and MUST be in conformity with AMS filing, Customs
Declaration or Customs Entry and Consular Documents. The
Carrier may verify the B/L description with other
shipping documents to insure accuracy. Amendments or
corrections in the commodity description will be accepted
ONLY if supported by U.S. AMS Filings, Customs Declaration,
Customs Entry, Consular Documents and other shipping documents.
c. Trade names are NOT acceptable commodity descriptions.
Shippers are required to declare their commodities by
their generally accepted generic or common name.
d. Unless otherwise specified, the value of cargo, which is
to be rated in accordance with a specific value-scale
provided in an NRA or on a web rate page in a Tariff
governed by this Tariff, will be determined on the basis
of the value and net weight as declared in a validated
U.S. Export Declaration, Customs Declaration, Customs
Entry and/or Consular Documents. Where there is a
discrepancy between such documents, the highest
declaration shall be used to calculate freight and
additional charges.
e. Carrier will assess the Booking/ Documentation Processing Fee
named below, for handling, processing and forwarding
documentation covering the shipments moving under the
Rules, Charges and Rates named in this Tariff, in NRAs and
in Tariffs governed by this Tariff:
1. On all Shipments, EAN below: US$ 65.00 per shipment (per B/L)
2. On shipments of Tires, Tubes, Flaps and Honey,
FROM/THRU the Ports of Dalian, Hong Kong, Lianyungang,
Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai, Tianjin, Xiamen and
Yantian
US$ 100.00 Per B/L
f. Except as otherwise specifically provided in individual
NRAs or on web rate pages in Tariffs governed by this Tariff,
all Shipments coming into the United States will be SBJ to
the Destination Processing Fee named below, which charge
shall be in addition to all other applicable charges
including all otherwise applicable charges named herein.
A. From: Ports in Asia ONLY: US$ 35.00 per B/L
g. Except as otherwise specifically provided in an applicble,
accepted NRA, or on individual Web Rate Pages named in Tariffs
governed by this Tariff, when Carrier is requested or required
to arrange for transportation from a U.S. Inland Point to U.S.
POL or to a U.S. Point from a U.S. POD, Carrier will assess the
Special Inland Handling Fee named below, which charge shall be
in addition to all other applicable charges including all
otherwise applicable charges named herein.
Special U.S.Inland Handling Fee: US$ 75.00 per B/L
