When cargo is received at CFS in a damaged condition, the
principal tendering such cargo will be notified of the
nature and extent of cargo damage and will be requested to
provide disposition instructions.

a. If Damaged cargo is repaired and/or repackaged, all
charges for supplies and materials, as well as third
party repair services shall be for the account of the
party requesting such services. Additionally, all time
expended by Arrowpac personnel shall be charged for at
the rates named in Item 34.120 - Special Handling.
Requests for repair and/or repackaging of all bonded
cargo must be authorized by the U.S. Customs Service.

b. If Damaged cargo is to be salvaged, Arrowpac will hold
the cargo for the Free Time allowed in Rule 34.10.
After the expiration of Free Time the Demurrage Charges
named in Item 34.100 will be assessed, which charge
shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.
