If, after cargo has been sorted, stowed and/or assembled at
CFS Terminal and is awaiting release and delivery as
specified in the Bill of Loading and Shipping Documents,
the Consignee or his Agent requests or requires additional
sorting and/or specific selection of part or all of the
cargo in the shipment for subsequent loading into/onto
delivery truck(s), Arrowpac, at its option, will perform
such additional services subject to the following:
a. Consignee or his Agent MUST present to Arrowpac a
written request detailing the nature and form of the
special handling and/or services to be performed or
provided in advance of truck arrival and loading.
b. The additional charges named below will be assessed,
which charges shall be in addition to all other
applicable charges. Charges apply per man per hour
required to accomplish requested special handling and/or
services.
- - $ 47.65 per straight time man hour
- - $ 71.47 per overtime man hour (Exception to Rule 9)
- - $ 95.25 per penalty meal hour
The additional charges named above will be calculated in
15 (fifteen) minute increments, SBJ to a minimum of 30
minutes.
When a fork lift was NOT used or required to ready
shipment under original instructions, but IS required
and used to accomplish special handling/service request,
the additional charge named below will be assessed,
which charge shall be in addition to all other charges.
- - $ 13.11 per hour, or fraction thereof, fork lift
service is utilized
c. All additional charges named herein will be for the
account of the cargo and must be paid in accordance
with Rule 34.6, unless otherwise agreed to by Arrowpac
prior performance of service.
