Control No. 25-00644 Carrier does not provide COL containers for Shipper use. However, Cargo tendered to, or delivered by, the Carrier loaded in/on underlying VOCC or Container Leasing Company supplied containers or other equipment may be SBJ to Equipment Detention/Demurrage Charges levied by such VOCC or Container Leasing Company in accordance with such VOCC's Tariff and/or Equipment Interchange Agreements. All Equipment Detention/Demurrage Charges incurred while container or equipment is not in Carrier's direct possession will be solely for the account of the cargo and Carrier will NOT pay, reduce or absorb any portion of such charges. When such Detention and/or Demurrage Charges are billed directly to the Carrier by the VOCC nation, Carrier will forward the invoice(s) to the person, party or company who incurred the charges regardless of whether the shipment status was prepaid or collect (SBj to Rule 7). Carrier will assess the Administrative Handling Charge listed below when must forward invoices for Detention and/or Demurrage Charges to the Merchant, Shipper, Consignee or Agent of such party for payment, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges. a. On invoices for Container/Equipment DETENTION Charges Carrier will assess an Administrative Handling Charge equal to 20% of the Detention Charges assessed, SBJ to a M/C of USD100.00 per invoice. b. On invoices for Container/Equipment DEMURRAGE Charges Carrier will assess an Administrative Handling Charge equal to 20% of the Detention Charges assessed, SBJ to a M/C of USD100.00 per invoice.
