Carrier's liability for cargo transported by it shall be governed by the
terms of Carrier's bill of lading.  If Merchant wishes Carrier to bear a
greater level of responsibility than that provided for in the bill of
lading, Merchant must so indicate on Carrier's bill of lading and provide
Carrier with the value of the goods to be shipped under said bill of
lading.  In the event of such election by Merchant, Carrier shall be
liable for the stated value of the goods upon receipt of payment by
Merchant of the ocean freight rate and charges otherwise applicable to the
movement of such goods, plus additional freight equal to 0.75% of the
declared value of the goods.
