"Carrier" means American Cargoservice, Inc. 
   
"Merchant" means the persons named as shipper, exporter, consignee and/or
 receiver on the bill of lading, any holder of the bill of lading, the
 actual recipient of the goods, any person owning or entitled to the
  possession of the goods or of the bill of lading, and anyone acting on
behalf of any of the foregoing persons.
   
"TRI" means a tariff rate item consisting of a freight rate for the
 transportation of a stated cargo quantity from origin to destination
 under a single specified set of transportation conditions.
