RULE: 2.101 - TRANSPORTATION TRANSIT SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS AND CODES Eff: 28MAR2025

Rates named in this Tariff apply via a transit transportation service which
may be shown in connection with such rate.  If no Transit Service Code is
listed within an individual TLI, the rate named therein will apply via
Carrier's Standard Transit Service.  A full description of each transit
transportation service offered is listed below.
  
TRANSIT SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS:
  
Shipments moving on rates SBJ to one of the specific Transit Services named
below will apply ONLY at Shipper's option and SBJ the provisions herein:
  
a. When different rates applying on the same commodity, from the same
   ports/points to the same ports/points are published in this Tariff, or
   in Tariffs governed by this Tariff, and the application of each rate is
   based on different Transit Service levels, selection of Transit Service
   and the
   related rate level will be strictly at the Shipper's option.  If Shipper
   desires a specific Transit Service he MUST notify the Carrier which
   Transit Service is to be used at time of booking, either orally or in
   writing, unless such instructions have been given previously.  If no
   written instructions are forwarded by the Shipper to the Carrier,
   Carrier's booking records shall govern assignment of Transit Service
   level and application of rate.  If Shipper does NOT specify a specific
   Transit Service, Carrier will forward shipments and assess freight
   charges based on rates as follows:
  
  1st: On rates not SBJ to any Transit Service designation;
 
  2nd: On rates SBJ to Standard Transit Service when no rates have been
        posted without a transit service designation;
  
  3rd: On rates SBJ to Premium Transit Service when no other rates are
        posted, with or without transit service designation, to apply from
        origin to destination;
  
  4th: On rates SBJ to Ecomomy Transit Service when no other rates are
        posted, with or without transit service designation, to apply from
        origin to destination;
  
  5th: On rates SBJ to Economy Transit Service when only Premium and
        Economy Transit Service rates are posted.
  
b. Shipper's selection of a Transit Service level option shall be
   considered paramount and Carrier will NOT alter Shipper's instructions
   or the Transit Service/rate level selected, EXCEPT in the following
   instances.
  
  1. If Carrier forwards a shipment via a different Transit Service in
     error, Shipper shall be assessed freight charges based on the Transit
     Service level Shipper actually selected or the freight charges
     applicable to the Transit Service actually provided, whichever is
     lower.
  
  2. If due to an error or omission on Shipper's part, cargo is held at
     Carrier's Terminal or Container Yard and is not forwarded on the first
     available sailing for the Transit Service selected, Carrier will give
     the Shipper the option of waiting until the next sailing for the
     Transit Service selected or of changing the Transit Service status of
     the shipment.  If Shipper decides to change the Transit Service
     selected, freight charges shall be assessed on the basis of the
     Transit Service via which the shipment actually moves.  In either case
     all charges for storage, container shifting or reloading or shipment
     return, incurred as a result of Shipper's error or omission shall be
     for the account of the Shipper.
   
c. DEFINITION OF TRANSIT SERVICE LEVELS:
   
  1. ECN or ECO - ECONOMY FCL TRANSIT SERVICE:
     Economy Transit Service will ONLY apply on FCL cargo shipments moving
     on rates in which the applicable transit service "ECN" is specified.
     When Shipper requests and Carrier agrees to provide Economy Transit
     Service on a shipment covered by an ECN rate at booking, Carrier
     shall utilize the underlying VOCC with the lowest through freight
     rate and charges regardless of transit time or frequency of sailing
     from POL.  Except as otherwise provided, no departure date will be
     guaranteed, and Carrier will transport cargo SBJ to the availability
     of space it can obtain.  Cargo held at Terminal or Yard for Carrier's
     convenience will NOT be SBJ to any applicable storage charges.
   
  2. PFD/PLCL - PREFERRED LCL TRANSIT SERVICE:
     PREFERRED SERVICE will ONLY apply on LCL cargo shipments moving on
     rates in which the applicable transit service "PFD" is specified,
     SBJ to the provisions below:
   
    i. Trade specific PREFERRED SERVICE applies as follows:
      a. For U.S. Imports covered by Scope A Asia to U.S., Scope C Europe
         & CIS to U.S., Scope E Central & South America to U.S., Scope
         G Africa & Middle East to U.S., Scope J Australia, New Zealand &
         Pacific Islands to U.S., PREFERRED SERVICE applies from CFS
         locations outside the United States to Consignee's Door at a
         destination within the continental United States (i.e.
         excluding Alaska and Hawaii), which are interchanged at
         Charleston, SC, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Long Beach, CA, Los Angeles,
         CA, Miami, FL New York, NY, Oakland, CA, Port Newark, NJ, Seattle,
         WA or Tacoma, WA.
  
      b. For U.S. Exports covered by Scope B U.S. to Asia, Scope D U.S.
         to Europe & CIS, Scope F U.S. to Central & South America, Scope
         H U.S. to Africa & Middle East, Scope K U.S. to Australia, New
         Zealand & Pacific Islands, PREFERRED SERVICE applies from
         Shipper's Door locations with the continental United States (i.e.
         excluding Alaska and Hawaii), which are interchanged at
         designated CFS Gateway's Charleston, SC, Fort Lauderdale, FL, Long
         Beach, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Port Newark,
         NJ or Oakland, CA, to Destination CFS locations outside the
         continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).
  
   ii. Preferred Service will NOT apply on shipments containing Hazardous
       Materials as defined in Rule 16; and will NOT apply on shipments
       containing Perishable Cargo that requires protection from heat or
       cold as specified in Rule 2.5.
  
  iii. When Shipper requests and Carrier agrees to provide, PREFERRED
       SERVICE on a shipment covered by a PFD rate at booking, Carrier
       will utilize ocean transportation service as follows:
  
      a. For U.S. Import Tariff Scopes named in paragraph c.2.i.a. above,
         Carrier will utilize ocean transportation from port of origin
         to a U.S. port of interchange named in paragraph c.2.i.
  
      b. For U.S. Export Tariff Scopes named in paragraph c.2.i.b. above,
         Carrier will utilize ocean transportation from U.S. port of
         interchange named in paragraph c.2.i.b. above to port of
         destination outside of the continential United States (excluding
         Alaska and Hawaii).
   
   iv. The following exceptions to the Rules named in this Tariff will
       apply:
  
      A. Exception to Rule 2.1:
        a. For U.S. Imports covered by Tariff Section Scopes A,C,E,G,
           and J, Door Delivery PREFERRED SERVICE includes de-vanning
           cargo from container at interchange port in the United States
           and transfer of cargo exclusively to UPS' all-truck NAAF
           delivery network for movement to B/L destination (See
           Paragraph c.2.iv.C).
  
        b. For U.S. Exports covered by Tariff Section Scopes B,D,F,H and
           K, Door Pick Up PREFERRED SERVICE includes transfer of cargo
           which moved exclusively via UPS' all-truck NAAF Pick Up Network
           from the B/L Door Origin to Interchange Port in the United
           States, Stuffing/Containerizing Cargo at the Interchange Port
           in the United States for movement to the B/L destination (see
           paragraph c.2.iv.C.)
  
{C}   B. Exception to Rule 2.2: Freight charges will be calculated and
         assessed per actual weight of cargo or the dimensional weight,
         rounded up to the next full unit, whichever produces the greater
         revenue.  Dimensional Weight will be calculated as follows:
         multiply the Length times the Width times the Height (in inches)
         and then divide by 166, the result will be the rating weight in
         lbs.; OR multiply the Length times the Width times the Height (in
         centimeters) and then divide by 6000, the result will be the
         rating weight in kilos.
  
      C. Exception to Rule 1.5.a.: Carrier may substitute another inland
         service for the UPS All-Truck NAAF delivery service network
         ONLY with the prior permission and approval of the Shipper, or
         other Party having lawful authority.
  
      D. At any point, short of final delivery, the Shipper or other Party
         having lawful authority may request:
  
        1. DIVERSION:  Shipment to be diverted to another door delivery
           point in the United States for final delivery, SBJ to Carrier's
           acceptance and approval, and SBJ to the provisions and charges
           named in Rule 2.12Z.
  
        2. MODE CHANGE:
          a. Delivery Mode Change: For U.S. Imports, Shipment delivery
             mode may be changed from "All-Truck" to "Multi-Modal:" When
             diversion to "Multi-Modal" service is requested or required,
             freight charges shall be calculated at the applicable
             "All-Truck" NAAF Network Rate specified to the final
             diverted destination plus all additional costs incurred by
             the Carrier for utilizing another mode, including, but not
             limited to, Air Service.  Carrier reserves the right to
             select the alternate routing and subcontractors to use as
             it deems necessary to accomplish diversion.
  
          b. Pick Up Mode Change: For U.S. Exports, Shipment pick up mode
             may be changed from "All-Truck" to "Multi-Modal:" When
             diversion to "Multi-Modal service is requested or required,
             freight charges shall be calculated at the applicable
             "All-Truck" NAAF Network Rate specified from the Shipper's
             final diverted Door Origin plus all additional costs
             incurred by the Carrier for utilizing another mode,
             including, but not limited to, Air Service.  Carrier
             reserves the right to select the alternate routing and
             subcontractors to use as it deems necessary to accomplish
             diversion.
   
        3. DIVERSION ADMIN FEE: When Carrier diverts shipments moving on
           PFD Service Rates as specified in paragraphs c.2.iv.D.1. or
           D.2 herein, Carrier will assess an additional administrative
           Fee of US$ 150.00 per B/L for processing the diversion request.
  
    v. UPS does not guarantee, nor will UPS accept any liability for
       failure to meet Shipper's specified delivery schedule or transit
       time.
   
  3. PRE - PREMIUM FCL TRANSIT SERVICE:
     Premium Transit Service will ONLY apply on FCL cargo shipments moving
     on rates in which the applicable transit service "PRE" is specified.
     When Shipper requests and Carrier agrees to provide Premium Service
     on a shipment covered by a PRE rate at booking, Carrier will utilize
     the underlying VOCC, Water, Motor or Rail Carrier specified by the
     Shipper for all or any portion of the through transportation service.
     When Shipper requests and Carrier agrees to provide Premium Service
     but Shipper fails to specify that a particular Carrier be utilized
     for any portion of the through transportation service, selection of
     the underlying Carrier to be utilized for that portion of the through
     transportation service shall be at the discretion of the Carrier.
     However, Carrier will utilize the underlying Carriers providing the
     quickest and/or most direct service between origin and destination
     that his available.
  
  4. SLCL - PROPORTIONAL/ON-CARRIAGE LCL TRANSIT SERVICE:
     Proportional/On-Carriage LCL Service will ONLY apply on LCL cargo
     Shipments moving on rates in which the applicable transit service
     "SLCL" is specified, and ONLY when the following conditions apply:
  
    i. SLCL Proportional/On-Carriage Service applies on LCL cargo
       shipments moving from a Carrier's CFS location outside the United
       States to a Carrier CFS Terminal in the United States which has an
       immediate Carrier arranged subsequent on-carriage movement, via
       truck, Air Carrier or delivery van to the Consignee's designated
       premises (Door, Warehouse or Terminal), SBJ to definition of
       "Proportional" as defined in Rule 28.
  
   ii. SLCL Proportional/On-Carriage Service may also apply on shipments
       containing Hazardous Materials as defined in Rule 16, SBJ to
       Carrier approval at time of booking, and SBJ to the applicable
       HAZF (Hazardous Cargo Fee) named in the applicable Tariff Rate
       Section.  However, rates will NOT apply on shipments containing
       Perishable Cargo that requires protection from heat or cold as
       specified in Rule 2.5.
  
  iii. When Shipper or Consignee requests, and Carrier agrees to provide,
       SLCL Proportional/On-Carriage Service on a shipment covered by a
       SLCL Service rate at booking, Carrier will utilize its regularly
       scheduled ocean or ocean/intermodal transportation service from a
       Carrier CFS Terminal at Origin to a Carrier nominated CFS
       Terminal in the United States.  Carrier is not obligated to
       transport any shipment moving on an SLCL Service rate by any
       particular rail, motor, air or ocean Carrier, nor shall Carrier
       be restricted to the use of a Shipper or Consignee preferred or
       selected Carrier.
  
   iv. SLCL Proportional/On-Carriage Service at destination CFS Terminal
       includes de-vanning cargo from container at Carrier's U.S. CFS
       Terminal and transfer of cargo to a truck, air Carrier or delivery
       van for transportation to final Shipper or Consignee specified
       destination.
  
    v. If Shipper or Consignee requests Carrier to change shipment
       origin or delivery status as specified below, the applicable SLCL
       Service rate will NOT apply (except as otherwise provided in
       paragraph 4.v.B herein), SBJ to the following:
  
     A. CHANGE OF PICKUP STATUS:  If no applicable rate is published to
        apply from the port or point from which the Carrier is required
        to transport cargo, Carrier shall provide Shipper or Consignee
        with an amended rate quote covering such movement and await
        approval before arranging for transportation to commence.
  
     B. DIVERSION OF SHIPMENT AT DESTINATION:  When Shipper or Consignee
        requests or requires Carrier to deliver shipment to a destination
        beyond Carrier's CFS Terminal and an applicable Tariff Rate is in
        effect, Carrier will divert the shipment to the requested
        destination and will apply the effective rate applicable to such
        destination PLUS the Diversion Fee named in paragraph 4.v.D
        herein.  If no applicable rate is currently in effect to the port
        or point to which the Shipment is diverted, Carrier will apply
        the applicable SLCL Service rate PLUS the Diversion Fee named in
        Paragraph 4.v.D below, PLUS all on-carriage charges incurred by
        Carrier in effecting delivery from Carrier's destination CFS to
        the final destination to which the shipment has been diverted.
  
     C. CHANGE IN DESTINATION BEYOND CARRIER'S NOMINATED CFS:  If
        Shipper or Consignee changes the final destination to which the
        shipment is to be delivered, prior to the shipment arriving at
        destination CFS Terminal, or prior to shipment being dispatched
        from Carrier's destination CFS Terminal, Carrier will make all
        arrangements to Change the ultimate on-carriage destination but
        will NOT asses any Change of Routing or the Diversion Admin Fee
        as specified in paragraph 4.v.D).
  
        If Shipper or Consignee changes the final on-carriage destination
        to which the shipment is to be delivered after the shipment has
        been dispatched from Carrier's destination CFS Terminal, Carrier
        will assess the Diversion Admin Fee named in paragraph 4.v.D,
        PLUS any additional charges incurred by Carrier to accomplish
        the change in final destination.  Carrier will make every effort
        to intercept a shipment in transit to change the delivery
        instructions prior to the shipment arriving at the destination
        named in the original instructions, but Carrier cannot guarantee
        diversion of the shipment to the new destination short of its
        arrival at the destination specified in the original instructions.
  
     D. DIVERSION ADMIN FEE: When Carrier diverts shipments moving on
        any SLCL Service Rate as specified in the paragraphs above,
        Carrier will assess an additional Diversion Administrative Fee of
        USD 150.00 per B/L for processing the diversion request.
  
  5. STD - STANDARD TRANSIT SERVICE:
     Carrier is not obligated to transport cargo in any particular
     container or type of container or equipment (except as specified in
     individual TLIs or in conformity with Rule 16), or via any particular
     vessel, ocean, water, rail, motor or air carrier, or in time for any
     particular market or otherwise than with reasonable dispatch
     utilizing an underlying VOCCs' fixed sailing schedule(s).  
  
  6. TDO-P - TRADE DIRECT PREMIUM SERVICE - Carrier will provide
     Trade Direct Premium Service and assess rates SBJ to a TDO-P
     designation when, and ONLY when, Shipper has notified UPS
     that he intends to utilize TDO Service, SBJ to all terms and
     conditions named in Rule 150Z.  Further Carrier will utilize
     the underlying VOCC, Water, Motor or Rail Carrier specified by
     the Shipper for all or any portion of the through
     transportation service.  If Shipper fails to specify that a
     particular Carrier be utilized for any portion of the
     through transportation service, selection of the underlying
     Carrier to be utilized for that portion of the through
     transportation service shall be at the discretion of the
     Carrier, however, Carrier will utilize the underlying Carriers
     providing the quickest and/or most direct service between
     origin and destination consistent with TDO service as
     described in Rule 150Z.
   
  7. TDO-S - TRADE DIRECT STANDARD SERVICE - Carrier will provide
     Trade Direct Standard Service and assess rates SBJ to a TDO-S
     designation when, and ONLY when, Shipper has notified UPS
     that he intends to utilize TDO Service, SBJ to all terms and
     conditions named in Rule 150Z.  Further Carrier is not
     obligated to transport cargo in any particular container or
     type of container or equipment (except as specified in
     individual TLIs or in conformity with Rule 16), or via any
     particular vessel, ocean, water, rail, motor or air carrier,
     or in time for any particular market or otherwise than with
     reasonable dispatch utilizing an underlying VOCCs' fixed
     sailing schedule(s) consistent with TDO service as described
     in Rule 150Z.
   
  8. TDO-E - TRADE DIRECT ECOMOMY SERVICE - Carrier will provide
     Trade Direct Economy Service and assess rates SBJ to a TDO-E
     designation when, and ONLY when, Shipper has notified UPS
     that he intends to utilize TDO Service, SBJ to all terms and
     conditions named in Rule 150Z.  Further Carrier will utilize
     the underlying VOCC with the lowest through freight rate and
     charges, regardless of Transit Time or frequency of sailing
     from POL.  Except as otherwise provided, no departure date
     will be guaranteed, and Carrier will transport cargo SBJ to
     availability of space in Carrier's Trailers/Containers
     consistent with TDO Service as described in Rule 150Z.
     Cargo held at Terminal for Carrier's convenience will NOT be
     SBJ to any applicable storage charges.
  
  9. TDO-N - TRADE DIRECT: NO TRANSIT SERVICE SPECIFIED - Carrier
     will provide Trade Direct Service when no Transit Service is
     specified and assess rates SBJ to a TDO-N designation when,
     and ONLY when, Shipper has notified UPS that he intends to
     utilize TDO Service, SBJ to all terms and conditions named in
     Rule 150Z.  Further Carrier will provide through transportation
     service consistent with TDO service as described in Rule 150Z.
