I.  TARIFF RATE APPLICATION: Provisions & Charges named herein will apply
     on Shipments moving on an applicable Tariff Rate, when and ONLY
     when, the column "RULE APPLICATION" on the Web Rate Page References
     "S ACC" or "S ACS."
  
II. NSA RATE APPLICATION: Provisions & Charges named herein apply on
     Shipments moving on an effective, applicable NSA Rate, unless such
     NSA has specifically exempted the application of this Charge.
  
III. In order to recover amounts that must be paid for the construction
     and operation of the Alameda Corridor connection to U.S. Railroads,
     Carrier will assess the ALAMEDA CORRIDOR CHARGE (ACS) named below
     as indicated.
  
Therefore all shipments moving on any rate named in any Tariff Rate
Section referenced as SBJ ("S") to ACS (see Column "Rule Application"
on web rate page), or on any NSA Rate that has not exempted the
application of this Surcharge, OR which specifies it is subject to ACS,
will be SBJ to the ALAMEDA CORRIDOR SURCHARGE (ACC or ACS) provided
below, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges:
   
a. On FCL Shipments transported THRU the Ports of Long Beach, Los
    Angeles or San Pedro, CA the applicable ACC (ACS) will be (SBJ to

   NOTE 1: This charge will be included on the B/L and MUST
