Except as otherwise provided in an individual NSA or as specified below,
all shipments moving on an applicable rate that applies FROM any inland
point in the United States that is named in a governed NSA that indicates
such shipments are SBJ to the EMERGENCY INTERMODAL SURCHARGE (IES) provided
below, or are SBJ to "Additional Charges named in the UPS Governing Rules
Tariff," will be SBJ to the IES amount shown herein, which charge shall be
in addition to all other applicable charges:
     
a. On shipments TO Inland Points in the United States SBJ to a rate
   which indicates that UPS will provide a destination inland Service to a
   Container Freight Station (S), a Container Yard (Y), or a Door (D)
   when moving Via USAG Destination Ports will be SBJ to the IES named
   below; AND: On shipments TO Inland Points in Puerto Rico SBJ to a rate
   which indicates that UPS will provide a destination inland Service to a
   Container Freight Station (S), a Container Yard (Y), or a Door (D)
   when moving Via PR Destination Ports will be SBJ to the IES named
   below;
  
 1. On LCL Shipments (Origin "S" Service) when moving via MT or MR
    inland transportation service (See Rule 29) the IES will be:
  
     FROM/THRU           CURRENCY   W, M or W/M,   MINIMUM CHARGE
      PORTS &                       as freighted      PER B/L
     POINTS IN:
