a. Carrier requires the prior booking of all cargo shipments.  Cargo
   booking of FCL cargo must be made sufficiently in advance of scheduled
   sailing so that empty container(s) can be made available for Shippers
   to load and either made available for pickup or returned to Carrier's
   Terminal, CY or Rail Yard/Ramp prior to departure date of train or
   vessel on which cargo has been booked.  Shipper MUST specify the cargo
   to be transported and the number and type of container(s) desired to
   accommodate shipment at time of booking.
     
b. When booking cargo weighing over 1 W-ton or which cannot be loaded
   within the inside of a standard closed container, Cargo booking must
   be made sufficiently in advance of scheduled sailing so that any
   specialized equipment required to handle or transport the cargo can
   be obtained and furnished to Shipper in sufficient time to accomplish
   loading and movement of cargo to shipside prior to scheduled sailing
   date.
         
c. When booking hazardous, flammable or dangerous cargo as defined in
   Rule 16, Shipper must identify the scientific name along with any
   trade name of the cargo, the applicable Hazardous class and any
   special handling requirements.
     
d. The following described articles and property will NOT be accepted for
   transportation under the terms, conditions, rates and charges named in
   this Tariff:
  
 1. Articles, or parts thereof, the transportation of which is prohibited
    in U.S. interstate or foreign commerce, or which is prohibited by
    applicable laws of other countries to or through which Carrier
    provides transportation service; and
  
 2. Articles or cargo which because of its inherent characteristics are
    liable to impregnate, destroy or otherwise damage cargo, vessels,
    docks, piers, terminals, warehouses, or transporting/handling
    equipment; and
   
 3. Radioactive Materials and Class A and B Explosives; and
    
 4. Hides, Pelts or Skins, green salted; and 
    
 5. Missiles, guided or Rockets, guided; Guidance Systems or Electronic
    Guidance Control Apparatus for installation in Missiles or Missile
    sections; Missile or Rocket Frame assemblies containing electronic
    apparatus, or Mobile Missile Guidance Control Systems; and
   
 6. Animals, live, domestic or wild, including pets or livestock; and
       
 7. UPS will prohibit the shipment within, to or
    from the United States shipments containing Vaping Products or
    accessories of any type, whether with or without nicotine, whether
    flavored or non-flavored, whether or not approved by the United States
    Food and Drug Administration, and whether or not the Shipper is
    authorized to ship or the Consignee is authorized to receive such
    products under appliable law. Vaping Products include, but are not 
    limited to, e-cigarette devices and e-liquids or gels, regardless of
    nicotine content.  "Vaping Product" means any Tobacco product intended
    for human consumption by inhalation that relies on vaporization or
    aerosolization, and any noncombustible liquid or gel, regardless of the
    presence of nicotine, including but not limited to e-liquid, electronic
    cigarettes, electronic cigars, electronic cigarillos, electronic pipes,
    electronic vaping product delivery pens, hookah pens, and any other
    similar devices that rely on vaporization or aerosolization or can be
    used with any such device.  Additional specific details can be found at

e. The following described articles and property will NOT be accepted for
   transportation under the terms, conditions, rates and charges named in
   this Tariff without the specific prior approval of UPS:
  
  1. Bank Bills, Coin or Currency, Deeds, Drafts, Notes or other valuable
     paper of any kind; jewelry including costume or novelty jewelry,
     except where otherwise specifically provided; postage stamps or
     letters or packets of letters with or without postage stamps
     affixed; Precious Metals or Stones or Articles manufactured thereof;
     Revenue Stamps; Works or Art; Antiques, or other related or
     unrelated old, rare or precious articles of extraordinary value; and
    
  2. Cargo which requires protection from heat or cold; and
  
  3. Corpses, Human or cremated remains; and
  
  4. Bulk Commodities;
  
  5, Coal;
  
  6. Coke - in Hazardous form;
  
  7. Fruits, fresh, not chilled, refrigerated or frozen
  
  8. Vegetables, fresh, not chilled, refrigerated or
     frozen; and
    
  9. Additional articles that will not be accepted for transportation
     service in LCL shipments under the terms, conditions, LCL rates and
     charges named in any Rate Section of this Tariff without the
     explicit, prior approval of UPS:

   v. Firearms or Weapons

 vii. Magnets
