In any instance where the Shipper or other party having lawful authority to
direct Carrier to divert any shipment to a destination or delivery point
other than that indicated on Carrier's bill of lading or waybill, Carrier,
for good cause shown, including bankruptcy or insolvency of a
consignee, a mistake in shipper's instructions, an embargo, quota or force
majeure affecting Merchant or other similar conditions, may in Carrier's
discretion reroute the shipment to an alternative destination or delivery
point requested by Shipper or other party, provided:
   
  i. if the commodity and alternative destination or delivery point are
     covered by an applicable commodity rate in Carrier's tariffs,
     such commodity rate shall govern, OR
   
 ii. if there is no applicable rate to the designated alternative
     destination or delivery point, or the only applicable rate is a "Cargo
     NOS", the rate for the diverted shipment shall be the rate to the
     original destination, plus any additional costs incurred by Carrier in
     delivering to the alternative destination or delivery point, as
     determined by Carrier using such routings and subcontractors as it may
     deem commercially reasonable, AND
    
iii. in each of the foregoing situations, Carrier shall charge an
     additional administrative fee of USD250.00 per Container or USD250.00
     per LCL bill of lading for processing such diversion request.
