RULE: 10.73H - [NSA] IES - EMERGENCY INTERMODAL SURCHARGE - LCL/FCL Eff: 29AUG2021

Except as otherwise provided in an individual NSA or as specified below,
all shipments moving on an applicable rate that applies FROM any inland
point in the United States that is named in a governed NSA that indicates
such shipments are SBJ to the EMERGENCY INTERMODAL SURCHARGE (IES) provided
below, or are SBJ to "Additional Charges named in the UPS Governing Rules
Tariff," will be SBJ to the IES amount shown herein, which charge shall be
in addition to all other applicable charges.  (SBJ to Note 1):
     
a. Shipments FROM Inland Points in the United States which are SBJ to a
   rate which indicates that UPS will provide an origin inland Service from
   a Container Freight Station (S), a Container Yard (Y), or a Door (D)
   when moving Via USAG Origin Ports will be SBJ to the IES named below;
   AND: Shipments FROM Inland Points in Puerto Rico which are SBJ to a rate
   which indicates that UPS will provide an origin inland Service from a
   Container Freight Station (S), a Container Yard (Y), or a Door (D) when
   moving Via PR Origin Ports will be SBJ to the IES named below;
  
 1. On LCL Shipments (Origin "D" or "S" Service) when moving via MT or MR
    inland transportation service (See Rule 2.102) the IES will be:

 NOTE 1: Any U.S. Export Shipment, SBJ to an NSA governed by this Tariff, 
   in which the Merchant's (NSA Signatory's) nominated Trucker has been
   engaged to provide the inland United States pre-carriage service will
   NOT be Subject to the Emergency Intermodal Surcharge named herein.
