{C} Provisions of the Packing/Packaging Charge (PCKG) named herein have
been transferred from all Tariff Sections to comply with the FMC's
Order in Docket No. 17-10 which amend the Regulations governing
NSAs (NVOCC Service Arrangements). This PCKG Rule shall apply to
all UPS' NSAs, unless the original NSA specifies it is not subject
to a PCKG or until an Amendment to a governed NSA specifies it is
not subject hereto.
Except as otherwise provided as specified below, all shipments moving on
an applicable rate named in a governed NSA that requires packing/packaging
services as specified below will be SBJ to the PACKING/PACKAGING CHARGE
(PCKG) provided below, which charge shall be in addition to all other
applicable charges:
A. All LCL cargo must be properly packed in such a manner as to protect
it against damage from stowage in containers, holds or handling in
quantities along with other cargo in any customary manner required
for usual sea dispatch.
b. A packing charge will be assessed, at cost, plus twenty percent (20%)
upon Shipper's request for cargo packing or when LCL cargo is
tendered to Carrier for ocean transportation and is not properly
packed for containerization, SBJ to a Minimum charge of USD15.00 per
service.
