{C} Provisions of the Priority Loading Service Guarantee & Charge (PLSG)
     named herein have been transferred from Tariff 228 to comply with
     the FMC's Order in Docket No. 17-10 which amend the Regulations
     governing NSAs (NVOCC Service Arrangements).  This PLSG Rule shall
     apply to all UPS' NSAs, unless the original NSA specifies it is
     not subject to an PLSV or until an Amendment to a governed
     NSA specifies it is not subject hereto.
  
  
Except as otherwise provided in an individual NSA, or as specified in
NOTE A below, all shipments moving on the rates named in a governed NSA
will be SBJ to the PRIORITY LOADING SERVICE GUARANEE & CHARGE (PLSG)
provided below, which charge shall be in addition to all other
applicable charges:
    
a. When, at the specific request of a Shipper, UPS agrees to provide,
   SBJ to the provisions named in paragraph b. below, a guaranteed,
   reserved loading space aboard a named underlying VOCC's vessel
   scheduled to sail on a date stipulated by the VOCC, UPS will assess
   the PLSG Surcharge named in paragraph c., which charge shall be in
   addition to all other applicable charges.
     
b. UPS will provide Guaranteed Priority Loading Service ONLY when:
    
  1. Shipper requests guaranteed Priority Loading Service at the time
      cargo is booked, or when Shipper requests to convert cargo already
      booked with UPS to a Guaranteed Prioity Loading status.
    
  2. UPS confirms to Shipper the assignment of Guaranteed Priority
      Loading status on booked cargo for which Shipper has requested such
      service.
    
  3. Shipper agrees to payment of the PLSG Surcharge provided in
      paragraph c. below, or an exception charge named specifically
      within the applicable rate page, which charge shall be in addition
      to all other applicable charges.
   
c. On shipments accorded Priority Loading Service Guarantee status
    TO/THRU the United States Ports named in Rule 1.2 paragraph a.
    FROM/THRU Ports & Points in Far East and South Asia named in Rules
    1.3, paragrpah a. and 1.4 paragraph a. the PLSG applicable on FCL
    shipments will be:

d. If due to operational exigencies, cancellation of underlying VOCC
   service, or for any other reasons whatsoever, UPS cannot or does not
   provide the Guaranteed Priority Loading Service described in this
   Rule, UPS shall forward booked cargo to destination as quickly as UPS
   can arrange such transportation and the assessment of the PLSG
   Surcharge named in paragraph c. herein will be waived and not assessed.
