Except as otherwise expressly provided to the contrary, the
Rules and Provisions set forth in this Tariff shall be 
applicable whether the form of contract of carriage between
Carrier and Shipper and/or Consignee is a negotiable bill
of lading, or non-negotiable sea and/or sea/air waybill as
selected by the parties (all such forms of contract of
carriage collectively a "Bill of Lading" for the purposes 
of this Tariff).  The standard terms and conditions
applicable for each Bill of Lading are as stated in Rule 8.
