Rates, Rules, Provisions, Surcharges and Assessorials named in
this Tariff Rate Section apply on cargo transported TO United
States Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Coast Ports, Great Lakes
Ports, Ports in Alaska and Hawaii, United States Inland
Points AND Ports and Points in U.S. Territories and
Possessions, on the one hand, FROM, on the other, Ports and
Points in Southern Africa listed in Rules 1.3 and 1.4 herein.
     
Rates named in this Tariff Rate Section applying From/To Ports
or Port Location Groups are Local Commodity Rates and may be
combined with the Outport or Inland Point Arbitraries named
in this Tariff Rate Section.  Rates named in this Tariff Rate
Section applying From/To Inland Points or Point Location Groups
are Through Intermodal Commodity Rates and are NOT Subject to
any Outport or Inland Point Arbitraries named in this Tariff
Rate Section that would otherwise apply on shipments From/To
such Inland Points.  Except as otherwise provided on individual
Web Rate Pages (TLIs) named in this Tariff Rate Section, all
Rates named in this Tariff Rate Section shall also apply as
proportional commodity rates applicable on cargo having
specific prior or subsequent transportation movements.
    
Except as otherwise provided in this Tariff Rate Section, Rates
named in this Tariff Rate Section are SBJ to Danmar Lines Ltd,
(a d/b/a of Danzas Corporation) General Import (To USA) Rules
Tariff 599.  When a Rule or provision named in this Tariff Rate
Section conflicts with or duplicates a Rule and/or provisions
named in the governing Rules Tariff, the Rule and/or provisions
named in this Tariff Rate Section shall take precendence over
the Rules and/or provisions named in the governing Rules Tariff.
