In order to recover amounts that must be paid for the construction and
operation of the Alameda Corridor connection to U.S. Railroads, Carrier
will assess the ALAMEDA CORRIDOR CHARGE (ACS) named below as indicated,
which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.
   
Therefore except as otherwise provided on individual Web Rate Pages
(TLIs), all shipments moving on the rates named in this Tariff Rate
Section, moving through the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, CA
that are transported by rail through or to the Southern California
counties of Kern, San Bernadino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara,
Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego or Imperial, whether
or not actually moved over the Alameda Corridor, will be SBJ to the ACS
named herein.
          
a. On FCL Shipments transported TO & THRU the Ports of Long Beach or Los 
    Angeles  which move by rail through or to points in the California
    Counties named above, the applicable ACS will be - See EXCEPTIONS
    in Paragraph b. below:
