Except as otherwise provided on individual Web Rate Pages (TLIs) all
shipments moving on the rates named in this Tariff rate section,
exiting the Port Terminals of Los Angeles & Long Beach, CA via
surface roads are SBJ to the TRAFFIC MITIGATION FEES [TMF] (PierPass)
named herein, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable
charges.  Additionally when a TMF is applied, Carrier will assess the
TMF HANDLING FEE named below, which charge shall be in addition to the
TMF named herein.
    
1. TRAFFIC MITIGATION FEE [TMF] will be as follows:
   
  I. On Shipments exiting Port Terminals in Long Beach & Los Angeles, CA
      between the hours of 3:00AM thru 6:00PM, Monday through Friday:
    
    a. On LCL, AQ or Breakbulk Shipments (See Exceptions) Carrier will
        assess a TMF of:
    
{A}       USD 3.00 W/M, as freighted, SBJ to a M/C of USD 3.00 per B/L.
    
    b. On FCL SHIPMENTS the following Pier Pass Charges will be collected:
   
       Carrier will collect the Pier Pass charge assessed by the Port
       Authorities.  Such charge will be advanced or forwarded by the
       Carrier for payment with all other freight and charges.
    
       Exception: This Charge will NOT apply on:
        1.  Empty Containers
        2.  Chassis without Containers
        3.  Containers exiting the Port Terminals via the
             Alameda Corridor
    
    
  II. Shipments exiting Port Terminals in Long Beach & Los Angeles, CA
       between the hours of 6:01PM and 2:59AM, Monday through Thursday,
       or between the hours of 6:01PM Friday and 2:59AM Monday:
    
    a.  LCL, AQ or Breakbulk Shipments:  NO CHARGE SHALL BE ASSESSED
    
    b.  FCL Shipments:  NO CHARGE SHALL BE ASSESSED
   
   
2. Carrier will assess the TMF HANDLING FEE below on shipments SBJ to
    a TMF Charge:
    
    a.  On LCL, AQ or Breakbulk Shipments:
          NO HANDLING CHARGE SHALL BE ASSESSED
    
    b.  On FCL Shipments:
          The TMF Handling fee will be:  US$ 20.00 PC
