When a TLI Rate published in this Tariff, is SBJ to this
Rule, such TLI Rate will apply ONLY when Carrier provides
a prior or subsequent transportation carriage from or to
the port(s)/point(s) specified within the TLI note.  The
charge for the specified prior or subsequent transportation
carriage is to be found in the applicable inland Rate Table
amed in this Tariff.  The application of Combination Rates
are SBJ to the following restrictions:
    
a. The inland Rate Table charges named in this Tariff will
   apply ONLY on shipments having a Carrier provided prior
   or subsequent transportation carriage from or to the
   port(s) or point(s) that has been specifically named
   within a TLI SBJ to this Rule.
   
b. Except as otherwise specifically provided, any TLI rate
   SBJ to this Rule cannot be applied on shipments not
   having the specified prior or subsequent transportation
   carriage, regardless of whether or not there is another
   TLI Rate published to apply on the same commodity from
   and to the same port(s) or point(s).
    
c. When both a Combination Rate and a Thru Intermodal Rate
   are published to apply on the same commodity moving from
   and to the same ports, points or location groups, the
   Thru Intermodal Rate will apply, and take precedence
   over any applicable Combination Rate, regardless of the
   Shipper's, Consignee's, or forwarding party's intentions
   or whether the Combination Rate results in higher or
   lower overall costs to the party responsible for the
   payment of freight and charges.
