Except as otherwise provided in individual TLIs (Rate
Items), Shipper MUST furnish, or arrange for the
preparation of, all documentation and information required
to export cargo from country of origin, to import cargo
into country of destination, and to transport cargo through
other countries between origin and destination.  In
addition to all documentation, Shipper MUST describe cargo
in sufficient detail to permit Carrier to rate cargo, and
MUST at a minimum comply with the following:
    
a. ON SHIPMENTS EXPORTED FROM THE UNITED STATES: 
   Description of commodities shall be in general agreement on all
   copies of the B/L and other shipping documents and MUST not be in
   conflict with the Electronic Export Information (EEI) filed through
   the U.S. Customs Automated Export System (AES), as well as any
   Consular Documents covering the shipment.  The Carrier reserves the
   right to verify the B/L description with the AES EEI to insure
   accuracy.  Amendments or corrections in the commodity description
   will be accepted ONLY if validated by U.S. Customs and which are in
   general agreement with all other shipping documents.  Further
   Shippers MUST either supply Carrier, when booking cargo, with the
   applicable commodity Schedule B/Harmonized Code No. or sufficient
   information to allow Carrier to correctly assign the correct
   Schedule B/Harmonized Code No. to prepare whatever filed export
   documentation that is required.
    
b. Trade names are NOT acceptable commodity descriptions.  Shippers are
   required to declare their commodities by their generally accepted
   generic or common name.
     
c. Unless otherwise specified, the value of cargo, which is to be rated
   in accordance with a specific value-scale provided in this Tariff
   Rate Section will be determined on the basis of the value and net
   weight as declared in a validated U.S. Export Declaration, Customs
   Declaration, Customs Entry and/or Consular Documents.  Where there
   is a discrepancy between such documents, the highest declaration
   shall be used to calculate freight and additional charges.
      
d. When specifically provided on individual Web Rate Pages (TLIs), all
   Export Shipments to the Foreign Ports and Points named in such TLI
   are SBJ to the Doumentation Handling/Bill Of Lading Processing Fee
   specified therein and/or the additional Documentation Charges named
   below, which charges shall be in addition to all other applicable
   charges named in this Tariff Rate Section.
   
  
e. ADMINISTRATIVE HANDLING/AGENCY FEE:
   Carrier will assess an ADMINISTRATIVE HANDLING FEE on all Shipments
   destined to the countries named below for Handling Delivery of each
   shipment (including Documentation Processing), which charge shall be
   in addition to all other applicable charges.  (See Paragraph f. for
   any additional charges applicable for preparing and processing
   Delivery Orders - DOs.)
     
    On Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in the countries named below, the
     applicable HANDLING FEE will be:

f. DELIVERY ORDER PREPARTION/PROCESSSING FEE (DOP):
   Carrier will assess a DELIVERY ORDER PREPARATION/PROCESSING FEE on
   all Shipments destined to the countries named below for preparing
   and processing Shipment Delivery Orders, which charge shall be in
   addition to all other applicable charges.
     
    On Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in the countries named below, the
     applicable DELIVERY ORDER FEE will be:

g. B/L CORRECTIONS/AMENDMENTS:
   If a correction and/or an amendment to an issued Carrier Bill of
   Lading is required, or a correction and/or amendment is requested
   by a Shipper, Consignee or their Agent, Carrier will make the
   correction and/or amendment and will assess the Correction/Amendment
   Fee named below, which charge shall be in addition to all other
   applicable charges:
   
       USD 75.00 per each Correction or Amendment made
    
  
h. ADDITIONAL B/L PROCESSING FEE:
   On shipments moving via the underlying Carriers named below, Carrier
   will assess the additional Bill of Lading Processing Fee specified to
   cover additional Handling services, which charge shall be in addition
   all other applicable charges.
    
  1. COSCO:
     On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
     1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
     transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier
     COSCO (See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
    
      USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
    
  2. MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING CO.:
     On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
     1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
     transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier
     MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING CO. (MSC) (See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional
     B/L Processing Fee shall be:
    
      USD 30.00 per shipment (per B/L)
    
  3. NYK:
     On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
     1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
     transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier
     NYK (See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
    
      USD 30.00 per shipment (per B/L)
    
  4. UNITED ARAB SHIPPING COMPANY;
     On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
     1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
     transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier
     UASC (See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
    
      USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
  
  
i. DOCUMENT TURNOVER FEE:
   On shipments moving TO/THRU the Countries below, Carrier will assess
   the Document Turnover Fee specified to cover Documentation Handling
   services, which charge shall be in addition all other applicable
   charges.
    
  1. On LCL & FCL Shipments TO/THRU the POD Ports in TAIWAN, Carrier
     will assess an B/L Processing Fee of:
    
      TWD 1000 per shipment (per B/L)
