Except as otherwise provided in individual TLIs (Rate
Items), Shipper MUST furnish, or arrange for the
preparation of, all documentation and information required
to export cargo from country of origin, to import cargo
into country of destination, and to transport cargo through
other countries between origin and destination. In
addition to all documentation, Shipper MUST describe cargo
in sufficient detail to permit Carrier to rate cargo, and
MUST at a minimum comply with the following:
a. EXPORT FROM THE UNITED STATES:
Description of commodities shall be uniform on all
copies of the B/L and MUST be in conformity with a
validated U.S. Export Declaration and Consular
Documents covering the shipment. The Carrier shall
verify the B/L description with the validated U.S.
Export Declaration to insure accuracy. Amendments or
corrections in the commodity description will be
accepted ONLY if validated by U.S.Customs and in
conformity will all other shipping documents. If
shipments are NOT covered by a Shipper's Export
Declaration (SED), as permitted by Export Control
Regulations, Shippers MUST insert the applicable
commodity Schedule B number in the Line Copy of the B/L.
b. Trade names are NOT acceptable commodity descriptions.
Shippers are required to declare their commodities by
their generally accepted generic or common name.
c. Unless otherwise specified, the value of cargo, which is
to be rated in accordance with a specific value-scale
provided in this Tariff will be determined on the basis
of the value and net weight as declared in a validated
U.S. Export Declaration, Customs Declaration, Customs
Entry and/or Consular Documents. Where there is a
discrepancy between such documents, the highest
declaration shall be used to calculate freight and
additional charges.
d. When specifically provided in individual TLIs (Web Rate Pages),
all Export Shipments to the Foreign Ports and Points named
in such TLI are SBJ to the Doumentation Handling/Bill Of Lading
Processing Fee specified therein, which charges shall be in
addition to all other applicable charges named in this tariff.
e. ADMINISTRATIVE HANDLING/AGENCY FEE:
Carrier will assess an ADMINISTRATIVE HANDLING FEE on all Shipments
destined to the countries named below for Handling Delivery of each
shipment, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable
charges. (See Paragraphs g., h., i. & j. for any additional charges
applicable for preparing and processing Documentation)
On Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in the countries named below, the
applicable HANDLING FEE will be:

f. B/L CORRECTIONS/AMENDMENTS:
If a correction and/or an amendment to an issued Carrier Bill of
Lading is required, or a correction and/or amendment is requested
by a Shipper, Consignee or their Agent, Carrier will make the
correction and/or amendment and will assess the Correction/Amendment
Fee named below, which charge shall be in addition to all other
applicable charges:
1. When Correction or Amendment is requested by Shipper or their
authorized agent in the U.S. the B/L CORR/AMEND FEE will be:
USD 75.00 per each Correction or Amendment made
g. ADDITIONAL B/L PROCESSING FEE:
On shipments moving via the underlying Carriers named below, Carrier
will assess the additional Bill of Lading Processing Fee specified to
cover additional Handling services, which charge shall be in addition
all other applicable charges.
1. COSTA RICA:
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in COSTA RICA, FROM Ports or
Points in the United States when through transportation service is
provided any underlying Carrier the additional B/L Processing Fee
shall be, which charge shall be in addition to all other charges
named under this paragraph:
USD 60.00 per shipment (per B/L), EAN herein
2. HONDURAS:
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in HONDURAS, FROM Ports or
Points in the United States when through transportation service is
provided any underlying Carrier the additional B/L Processing Fee
shall be, which charge shall be in addition to all other charges
named under this paragraph:
USD 75.00 per shipment (per B/L), EAN herein
3. NICARAGUA:
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in NICARAGUA, FROM Ports or
Points in the United States when through transportation service is
provided any underlying Carrier the additional B/L Processing Fee
shall be, which charge shall be in addition to all other charges
named under this paragraph:
On LCL Shipments the Additional B/L Processing Fee will be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L), EAN herein
On FCL Shipments the Additional B/L Processing Fee will be:
USD 260.00 per shipment (per B/L), EAN herein
4. CMA CGM (VOCC)
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier CMA CGM
(See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
USD 60.00 per shipment (per B/L)
5. EVERGREEN (VOCC):
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier EVERGREEN
(See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
A. The Additional B/L Processing Fee will be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L), EAN
B. On FCL Shipments Destination to PODs in Guatemala the Additional
B/L Processing Fee will be: USD25.00 per B/L.
6. HAMBURG SUD (VOCC):
EFFECTIVE 12 September 2016
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in GUATEMALA FROM Ports or
Points in the United States when through transportation service is
provided by underlying Carrier HAMBURG SUD (See Rule 2.4.i.) the
additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
7. MAERSK (VOCC):
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in GUATEMALA FROM Ports or
Points in the United States when through transportation service is
provided by underlying Carrier MAERSK (See Rule 2.4.i.) the
additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L), PLUS an Import Service
Fee of USD 60.00 per shipment (per B/L)
8. MITSUI O.S.K. (VOCC):
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier MITSUI
O.S.K. (See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:

9. NYK (VOCC):
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier NYK
(See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
10. YANG MING:
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the Ports or Points named in Rules 1.3 or
1.4, FROM Ports or Points in the United States when through
transportation service is provided by underlying Carrier Yang Ming
(See Rule 2.4.i.) the additional B/L Processing Fee shall be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
h. CARRIER B/L PROCESSING FEE (DOCF):
On shipments moving TO/THRU the Countries below, Carrier will assess
the Bill of Lading Processing Fee specified to cover Documentation
Handling services, which charge shall be in addition all other
applicable charges.
1. EL SALVADOR:
On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the POD Ports in EL SALVADOR, Carrier
will assess an B/L Processing Fee of:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
2. GUATEMALA:
On LCL or FCL Shipments TO/THRU any POD Port in GUATEMALA, Carrier
will assess an B/L Processing Fee of:

2.NICARAGUA:
A. On LCL, AQ or LS Shipments TO/THRU the POD Ports in NICARAGUA,
Carrier will assess an B/L Processing Fee of:

B. On FCL Shipments TO/THRU the POD Ports in NICARAGUA, Carrier
will assess an B/L Processing Fee of:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
i. DOCUMENT RELEASE/HANDOVER FEE:
Carrier will assess a DOCUMENT RELEASE/HANDOVER FEE on any Shipment
destined to any POD Port named below to cover sending, delivering
or handing over Documentation needed to import cargo into the Counties
named below, which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable
charges.
1. CANADA:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in CANADA the
applicable DOCUMENT HANDOVER FEE will be:
CAD 10.00 per shipment (per B/L)
2. COSTA RICA:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in COSTA RICA
applicable DOCUMENT HANDOVER FEE will be:
USD 145.00 per shipment (per B/L)
3. MEXICO:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in MEXICO the
applicable DOCUMENT RELEASE FEE will be:
USD 30.00 per shipment (per B/L)
4. PANAMA:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments TO/THRU POD Ports in PANAMA the
applicable DOCUMENT RELEASE FEE will be:
USD 35.00 per shipment (per B/L)
j. COURIER SERVICE FEE:
When Carrier is requested or required to utilize a Courier Service to
pickup or deliver any document needed to import cargo into the
countries named below, Carrier will assess a COURIER SERVICE FEE named
below to cover such service, which charge shall be in addition to all
other applicable charges.
1. MEXICO:
When Carrier provides Courier Services on shipments destined to
MEXICO the applicable COURIER SERVICE FEE will be:
USD 35.00 per Courier Pouch required
k. BOND PROCESSING FEE:
When Carrier is required to handle any shipment for which a Bond must
be obtained or processed, Carrier will assess the BOND PROCESSING FEE
named below to cover the additional time required to accomplish
delivery of such shipment to Consignee, which charge shall be in
addition to all other applicable charges.
1. COSTA RICA:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments for which a Bond must be obtained or
processed to move or deliver to Consignee in COSTA RICA the
applicable BOND PROCESSING FEE FEE will be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
2. NICARAGUA:
On LCL, AQ, LS or FCL Shipments for which a Bond must be obtained or
processed to move or deliver to Consignee in NICARAGUA the
applicable BOND PROCESSING FEE FEE will be:
USD 50.00 per shipment (per B/L)
l. DOCUMENTATION HANDLING FEE:
Except as otherwise specifically provided on individual Web Rate
Pages (TLIs) named in this Tariff Rate Section, all Shipments moving
on the rates named in this Tariff Section TO/THRU POD Ports in EL
Salvador are SBJ to the Documentation Handling Fee specified below,
which charge shall be in addition to all other applicable charges:
EL SALVADOR ONLY:
On LCL Shipments: USD 150 per shipment (per B/L)
On FCL Shipments: USD 150 per shipment (per B/L)
m. CARGO RELEASE FEE:
Except as otherwise specifically provided on individual Web Rate
Pages (TLIs) named in this Tariff Rate Section, upon the request of
Shipper, Consignee or their Agent, Carrier will arrange release of
FCL Containers without surrender of original B/Ls, at PODs or Points
in PANAMA, SBJ to Carrier's restrictions, requirements and procedures
and SBJ to the CARGO RELEASE FEE specified below, which charge shall
be in addition to all other applicable charges:
PANAMA ONLY:
On FCL Shipments: USD 32.10 per shipment (per B/L)
m. TEMPORARY ACCEPTANCE OF CARGO FEE:
