RULE: 4 - HEAVY LIFT CARGO SERVICE & CHARGES Eff: 15AUG2016

The application of Heavy Lift Cargo will be governed by the
following provisions and conditions:
     
a. CARGO TENDERED TO CARRIER IN/ON OCEAN CONTAINERS:
   Cargo, subject to the rates, charges and provisions
   named in this Tariff, when tendered to Carrier already
   loaded in/on ocean containers or transporting equipment
   will NOT be subject to any Heavy Lift Charges.  However,
   Carrier reserves the right to refuse to accept any
   shipment loaded in/on a COL, SOL or underlying VOCC
   container that is - 1) loaded beyond its marked weight
   capacity; or 2) without manufacturers plate clearly
   showing the specification of the container, including
   its maximum weight capacity; or 3) when Shipper fails to
   declare the gross weight of the loaded container.  Any
   fines or penalties imposed as a result of the
   misapplication or misstatement of actual weight(s) on
   the B/L and/or other Shipping Documents will be for the
   account of the cargo.
    
b. CARGO TENDERED TO CARRIER IN A BREAKBULK, LOOSE OR
     UNCONTAINERIZED FORM:
  1. Except as otherwise provided in individual TLIs (rate
     Items), Cargo, subject to the rates, charges
     and provisions named in this Tariff, when tendered to
     Carrier in a breakbulk, loose or uncontainerized form
     will NOT be subject to any Heavy Lift Charges and will
     be accepted without special arrangement PROVIDED the
     weight of each individual piece, package or unit in the
     shipment does NOT exceed 1,500 KGS per 1 CBM, OR,
     PROVIDED the total weight of an entire shipment does
     NOT exceed 7,200 KGS total combined weight (See
     paragraph b.3 for Exceptions).

  2. Shipments containing individual pieces, packages or units equaling
     or exceeding a weight of 1,500 KGS per 1 CBM, OR when the total
     weight of a single shipment equals or exceeds 7,200 KGS will be
     accepted by the Carrier for transportation ONLY after special
     arrangement and prior booking, and will be SBJ to any applicable
     Heavy Lift Charges named on the Web Rate Page (TLI) applying to
     such shipment, or in paragraph b.3 and/or b.4 below, which charge
     shall be in addition to all other applicable charges.  Shipper
     MUST provide a complete description, including gross weight and
     overall cubic measurements, of any article exceeding 1 W-ton at the
     time cargo is booked with Carrier.
    
  3. Shipments originating at Carrier's Houston, TX CFS,
     containing individual pieces, packages or units
     exceeding 10,000 lbs. each will be SBJ to a Heavy Lift
     Charge of US$1.00 per each 100 pounds, or fraction
     thereof, calculated on all weight in excess of 10,000
     lbs. of each piece, package or unit exceeding 10,000
     lbs.
    
{A}EFFECTIVE 14 September 2016
     EL SALVADOR ONLY:
  4. FCL Shipments TO or THRU PODs in EL SALVADOR with a weight
     exceeding 22 tons and/or 22,000 kilos per container will be SBJ to
     a Heavy Lift Charge of USD 250.00 per container.
